Our First Shipment
Yesterday we received our very first shipment! To say we were overly excited is an understatement. We ripped open the box (literally), anxious to see some of the styles we had recently purchased at our first ever apparel market in February. It was truly like Christmas morning. Maybe better. This whole experience is a total dream come true for us and so far, we're loving every minute! It's a LOT of hard work (honestly more than I expected), but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I've obviously tried everything on, and I'm hoping to get some photos up here soon! In the meantime, I wanted to share a few more details about our new styles. I also wanted to say thank you to anyone at all who is reading this, THANK YOU so much for supporting us, it means so much to us and we truly hope you love Proof as much as we do! Please share any thoughts, ideas or suggestions - were new at this and would love your feedback!
Now for the fun stuff. . .
This top. I can't even describe how much I love it. I can not wait to style this top with my white jeans and chunky wedges. I love that it is the perfect mix of classy and edgy. The deep white V is trendy, while the blue and white stripes add an almost preppy vibe. Perfect for any body type and runs true to size.
Guilty. I am totally wearing this top as I type this post, but it was one of those can't live without this moments. This knit black tank with fringe detail literally is perfect for any season. It's a knit material, which is perfect for fall/winter, but the tank top style allows you to just as easily wear it with ripped cut-offs or jeans in the spring/summer. Today I paired it with a bomber jacket, black cropped skinnies and some chunky heels. The fringe detail is actually fairly subtle since the top is all black. This top runs a bit small. I would stick to my normal size, but if I was on the edge, I would size up.
One thing you will probably learn very, very quickly is that I have a slight obsession with rompers. I love how easy they are to throw on and have an instant outfit. I also always seem to gravitate towards rompers since I'm short and they usually fit better in terms of length. This romper is no exception! Blush pink, ruffles, florals. . . seriously, I'm not sure what more you could ask for. I also love how you can tuck in the black ties for a strapless look, or pull them out as pictured in the photo. This romper runs true to size, but if you're on the edge, I'd probably size up.
I've got to be honest. I'm not always drawn to simple/basic, so I rely on my Mom to pick out our more basic pieces. I've got to give her all the credit in the world for finding this top. It is AMAZING. And the color is even better. I tried it on last night and was honestly in shock. It fits so well, longer in the back, but not at all too cropped in the front. The ruffle detail really stands out and I just can't get over the color. This fits true to size, but if you're on the edge, I'd size down.
Just a little sneak peak... we have much more to come!
